The Kallari factory will be a globally unique attraction nearly unparalleled in the world -- Kallari is one of the only groups locally producing bean-to-bar organic chocolate. Educating visitors is a crucial part of the consumer-producer connection.
An extensive greenhouse welcomes visitors to the site, and harbors tea flowers, herbs, vanilla orchids, and other useful plants. Tourists will learn all about Kallari and sustainability in the warm entrance lobby and east wing before viewing (and tasting) the entire chocolate process in the west wing. A full site tour also includes discussion of on-site food and energy generation. |
