| Our factory employs a unique system of daylighting, cooling, and water collection inspired by modern sustainable design principles. Using a sawtooth roof structure, daylight is brought into all the factory and cafe spaces throughout the day. Factory spaces needing lower temperatures feature light shelves and operable windows to avoid direct sunlight and allow for ventilation. A combination of visible and buried pipes bring water from the slightly angled roof area into the center courtyard. From there, the water is stored in a pond and cistern to be treated and redistributed to both wings of the factory. |
