| The TechTruck features an internet satellite dish capable of bringing a signal to remote communities. This is a stronger technology than WiFi, WiMax, or broadband in the area since it allows for mobility and full regional access at a lower cost. The interior space is designed as flexible so that tables, chairs, projectors, and electronic devices can be configured for a variety of day-time and night-time uses. All furniture (including extra chairs for education) will be stored and transported with the hub. Cables may be protected by local, hollow bamboo piping where necessary. Humidity-resistant computers will be used to prevent climatic damage. |
