While the TechTruck will provide the physical infrastructure to connect farmers, consumers, and the environment, KallariWeb will be the online interface through which their relationships can flourish. KallariWeb will move Kallari toward the forefront of social entrepreneurship by distinguishing them as a step beyond fair-trade and organic. By introducing consumers and farmers through tools such as social networks and farmer blogs, KallariWeb will encourage responsible consumerism, and in turn responsible agriculture and increased wages. |
